
Logo & Logo Guide
This section will include your logo in all it’s acceptable and non acceptable formats. For instance, you may use a white logo on a dark background, but only use full color in all your marketing. You’ll also indicate borders and margin area around your logo as well as where it should be placed on materials.
Core Color Palette
Your main colors with their hex, CMYK, RGB codes clearly defined for use in digital and print graphics. Your main colors usually are your logo colors and a few colors used regularly with your marketing
Typography
Specify the fonts designers use with the brand. Specify the size, spacing, capitalization, and proper usage of type. Typography specs keep a brand’s fonts consistent.
Imagery
What are the types of images you use? Indicate if you have people in your photos, only close ups of objects, filters and saturation used. This form of art direction helps designers stay in brand whether they are creating webpages, ads or posting on social media.
Voice
How do you want your customers to perceive you? Casual, academic, conversational. Your writing for your brand should portray your brand’s personality. Most business writing uses an active voice.
